Context

The inclusion of nuclear power in the national energy strategy requires the construction of new power plants and the extended operation of existing reactors to 60 years and beyond. These new conditions require studying, among other things, the effects of neutron flux variations on the properties of reactor materials.

Behaviour of Materials in Reactors

Materials of the Future

Study the effects of neutron flux variations on material properties, in order to strengthen the ability to predict the long-term behaviour of materials in reactors currently in operation, and to develop new materials for innovative reactors.
